Kari Gislason and Richard Fidler

Richard Fidler presents Conversations on ABC Radio, and is the author of several best-selling books of medieval history, including his most recent work The Book of Roads & Kingdoms. He and Kári are the co-authors of the award-winning Saga Land, the story of their journey into the sagas of Iceland. Richard’s author website is here.

 

Kári Gíslason is an Icelandic-Australian writer and academic who lectures in Creative Writing at QUT. Kári holds a doctorate for his thesis on medieval Icelandic literature. He is the author of several works of fiction and two memoirs: The Promise of Iceland, and most recently Running with Pirates. Kári’s blog is here.
